Inspired by our charter, where we committed to sharing valuable knowledge that shapes the industry, advancing solutions that unlock this future, I’m now proud to announce that we’re evolving the VTEX Community, aiming to make ecommerce even easier to co-create.
We wanted to find a way for customers, partners, agencies to build relationships with one another – share their expertise, learn from other experts, and maximize the potential VTEX has to offer.
The VTEX Community has the purpose of being a public space where the ecosystem can share knowledge to keep up with the fast-paced digital commerce environment.
The Collaborative Commerce and Composable Commerce approaches make us believe that the future of digital commerce is more open and will be built upon successful partnerships between the ecosystem.
As our clients grow in these strategies, VTEX also needs to scale, change and adapt. Along this path, we’re confronted with different challenges – from new languages to contemplate, such as Japanese, to innovative use cases – while working to suit the needs of our customers around the globe.
But we’re not in this alone. Partners and agencies are substantial stakeholders who accumulate knowledge about the market, industry, and technology – and a new restructured Community can now cover all this information.
The ecosystem brings incredible expertise and creativity to the VTEX platform – whether it’s a live streaming shopping app, a headless marketplace blending shopping and banking, a geo-location strategy that transforms operational efficiency, or even creating out-of-the-box custom apps for just about anything.
While these incredibly innovative cases are being built, they also need a place to be shared – not just from the standpoint of the story, but the behind-the-scenes, the “how-to.” That’s where VTEX Community takes place: as a way to empower customers to share and support one another with their wealth of product knowledge and insight.
Community members can join group discussions relevant to their industry, check out what’s new, and be amongst the first to gain access to new products and resources – all that on top of our official support resources such as our support ticket system, Help Center, and Developer Portal.
Our users are the bedrock of the VTEX Community, and our vision is that the members will be the driving force behind it, engaging in meaningful conversation and being guided by the VTEX team that will be moderating and driving collaboration.
As we expanded globally, having customers worldwide, the VTEX Community changed to an English-first experience.
Besides the page/site interface adapting to the language you selected in your profile settings, we have also created VTEX categories in your native language for you to ask questions in languages other than English.
